River Rafting

River Rafting

River rafting, also known as whitewater rafting, is an outdoor recreational activity where a group of people navigate a river or other body of water on an inflatable raft. It’s typically done on rivers with varying levels of rapids—ranging from calm, gentle flows to fast, turbulent waters with obstacles like rocks and drops. The thrill comes from paddling through these rapids, working as a team to steer the raft, and sometimes getting splashed or even flipped. Rishikesh on the Ganges, Arunachal Pradesh’s rivers like the Siang (Brahmaputra), Subansiri, and Kameng, and the Kundalika River in Maharashtra, or the Teesta River in Sikkim are the famous places for the this activity.
